Metropolitan Ministries
At Metropolitan we equip our ministries to work toward the goal of the entire church: to equip believers to obey the Lord's command to go and make disciples of all people everywhere. Adult, youth, and children's groups strive to know God and share His love by serving people.
See the list of ministries to the right to find your place to minister, or be ministered to. As always, please feel free to contact the church office if you need information that you are unable to find here.

Vehicle Maintenance Group Free Maintenance Day
Saturday, May 10 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
The Vehicle Maintenance Group offers free light maintenance today. They meet the second Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon. They are located on the NW corner of the MBC campus in the green garage building. They can do "LIGHT" maintenance such as oil changes, light bulbs, some fan belts and other simple projects. You supply the parts-they supply the labor. They can also do an inspection, advise you of problems and recommend solutions. This service is great for those who are not mechanically inclined, want to save money, or need unbiased diagnostics of problems.
Child Dedication Services on Mother's Day and Father's Day
Sunday, May 11
You may have a child that you would like to dedicate to the Lord and publicly ask Him to help you in your role as parents. If so, two opportunities are coming up. You can participate in a Child Dedication Service on Mothers’ Day (May 11) or Fathers’ Day (June 15). If you would like to sign up for one of these dates, or if you would like more information, please call me at the church office (722-2550). Deadlines for confirming your participation are May 2 (for Mothers’ Day) and June 6 (for Fathers’ Day).

Sunday Evenings in May and June
Sunday, May 11 6:00 PM
Sunday evenings in May and June will bring something new and a little different to Metropolitan. To begin with, we will meet in Fellowship Hall instead of the auditorium. Secondly, we will sit in small groups instead of in pews. Thirdly, we will emphasize discussion rather than listening to a sermon or message. Lastly, we will go deeper into the message presented in the morning worship service. This will provide an opportunity to talk with other believers about what Pastor Randy said in his morning message. We will ask such questions as: What truths were emphasized this morning? Is there other scripture that helps us understand more about that truth? What does that truth mean for Metropolitan today? What can I do this week to put that truth into action? How did I do in putting last week’s truth into action? We believe this will be a refreshing change from our normal Sunday evening format. So plan now to attend, think about and “go deeper” into the truths found in the book of Galatians.
