Let's be honest...being single in this age group, in our culture, is not easy. To be more specific, being happy as a single adult in our couples-oriented society is difficult for most people. We believe, however, that God's promises of an abundant and purposeful life are true for every believer, regardless of marital status. And that is our primary emphasis -- that each individual pursues a deep and fulfilling relationship with Jesus, which will then provide the spiritual and moral foundation for making life's decisions.
We also believe there is joy and contentment to be found in the body of Christ through fellowship. It is our desire to be a community -- a family, if you will -- which provides a loving and supportive environment for the development of meaningful relationships. At Metropolitan, whether you are widowed, divorced or never married, you'll find a church who is interested in you, your life and, if you have children, in their lives as well.
Through Bible studies, small groups, divorce recovery groups and fellowship opportunities (we have a lot of fun), you will feel cared for, accepted, and spiritually challenged. Join us -- be encouraged, find new friends, and feel the love of Jesus.
